What impact you will have:
The ideal candidate will coordinate with Product Development and conduct Sourcing and Procurement for all assigned product categories, creating local/global strategy and ensuring Supply Chain risks are mitigated.
What you'll do: Category Management:
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop KPIs to measure effectiveness of category strategy and activities.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify industry trends and potential suppliers.
Procurement Operations:
- Establish and manage a network of reliable suppliers.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.
- Manage supplier selection and performance evaluations.
Category Enablement and maintenance:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs.
- Participate in full cycle of Purchasing Project Management.
- Actively search for manufacturing improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement and category management.
- Proven track record of managing suppliers and categories from scratch.
- International experience in setting up different regions.
