For our large Procurement team, we are currently looking for a Category Manager - Clinical.
The successful role holder will be responsible for managing the Clinical portfolio for both our Life Science and Wellness & Healthcare business.
Through partnership with Senior Business Stakeholders and Procurement Business Partners, you will define and implement the Procurement strategy for this area and enable the advancement of our critical scientific substantiation journey.
Responsibilities:This position involves a wide range of responsibilities:
Strategic: You will work closely to understand the plans, assess the risks and look for ways to enhance speed of execution and success in the studies.
You will elaborate a sound sourcing strategy that will consider the various perspectives of the business functions.
You will regularly assess the validity of the strategy and adapt it when the changes of the environment require it.
You will focus on bringing value along the process and ensure that the results delivered are meeting the expectations.
You will focus on creating firm partnerships and accompany the service providers to deliver operational excellence.
You will proactively identify market opportunities and innovation approaches that will deliver value for the business function.Tactical: You will have to maintain solid procurement best practices and technical elements.
You will implement and run sourcing strategies, lead negotiations, establish a risk-based approach to find competitive solutions and finalize contracts.
You will be responsible for cost optimization and cost reviews.
You will conduct performance reviews with the key service providers to ensure continuous improvement.
You will coach and develop employees that will support the category manager in the sourcing execution.Who we are looking for:Strong Global Procurement Category Management Track Record in Pharma, Biotech, Lifesciences or CRO.
