Description : We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Mercer.
This role will be based in Madrid.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role involves providing functional support to the Procurement department across business sites for operational and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities include the daily execution of purchase orders and document creation, management of invoices and supplier master data, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
You will work closely with the teams based in Spain and India.
We will count on you to : Process daily purchase requisitions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and perform sourcing for remedy tickets and web requisitions.
Handle invoice processing and address general procurement-related inquiries.
Be the primary point of contact for outside vendors and manufacturers.
Administer the Purchase Order process effectively.
Ensure full compliance with the company's Spending and Transaction policy.
Proactively manage and reduce the number of invoices on hold (IOH) to maintain a robust procure-to-pay process.
Conduct bank versus invoice reconciliation.
What you need to have : Native Spanish.
Proficient in English (at least B2 level).
Experience using ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
Relevant experience in handling invoices, customer service / administrative or operational roles.
