Skyven is at the forefront of this transformation and has recently been selected for a $145M investment from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to accelerate the deployment of our state-of-the-art Skyven Arcturus steam-generating heat pumps (SGHPs) at manufacturing facilities nationwide, revolutionizing how we address energy needs while combating climate change.About The RoleWe are looking for an organized and hands-on Process Simulation Engineer with expertise in process design and simulation for capital projects.
This role will focus on designing, enhancing, and supporting process simulation solutions that enable clients' decarbonization and electrification goals, particularly in the deployment of heat pump technologies and Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) systems.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate practical and problem-solving abilities while leading process engineering and simulation efforts from feasibility studies and conceptual design through commissioning phases of projects.
This position is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Director of Process Engineering at CarbonNeutral Consulting, with close collaboration across Skyven Technologies' Solutions Architecture, Project Management, and Product Management teams.ResponsibilitiesProject Initiation and Planning:Oversee the initiation, planning, and design phases of engineering projects, including new process development and system modifications.
