JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a person who can join our Process Optimization area and who is ready to start immediately.
Specifically, someone motivated to help us i) rethink the status-quo of our processes; ii) evolve the Telefónica Group's Purchasing Model; iii) make the management of the purchasing areas simpler and more efficient, iv) increase the perception of value and satisfaction of our internal customers.The position is based in Madrid, reporting directly to Enrique Vila (Processes & TSPOC Manager).AREA DESCRIPTIONTelefónica Compras Electrónicas (TCE) is the Telefónica Group entity responsible for the definition and management of the Telefónica Group Purchasing Model (MCT), including:* The global Purchasing Regulations* The supplier registration and management model* The e-commerce platform (GEP) where all the Group's purchasing processes are managed; * The electronic invoicing platform available to all our suppliers (Marketplace)* Contract management.
* The Purchasing Comittee.TCE is the guarantor of the correct application of the MCT (Telefonica Procurement Model) in all the Group's Operators.
The Process Optimization & TSPOC Management is settled in the corporate offices in Madrid and belongs to the PROCUREMENT OPERATIONS area.The Process Optimization & TSPOC area is responsible for:* reviewing the Telefonica Group's procurement processes, defining their functional scope and correct documentation.
* coordinating the actions within the Direction related to the Procurement Transformation program (acting as a single point of contact for the Transformation team)MAIN ACTIVITIES & RESPONSABILITIES* Analyze the current procurement processes and identify opportunities for improvement that will result in agility and simplification of the process.
* Redefine and agree new processes or changes in the existing ones with the different areas involved.
* Propose solutions to identified problems (procedures, systems, ...).
* Analyze the requirements and needs of our global and local procurement areas and other key areas (Compliance, Legal, Management Areas, B2B, ...).
* Evaluate the impact of the adoption and implementation of new requirements (operational, systems, TGS model, ...).
* Define the functional requirements needed to implement the solutions in our systems and tools.
* Support the Transformation team in the definition of the requirements to transfer the functional scope of our processes to the procurement management and operation tools (GEP, Merlin, etc).
* Support the Regulatory and Procurement team to align and adapt the regulations in those processes where necessary.
* Support in the management of changes that need to be carried out.
* Periodically evaluate the model and processes implemented to measure compliance with the objectives set.CHALLENGES* Evolve the MCT to adapt it to the new needs of the Group.
* Identify initiatives to transfer agility and efficiency to the purchasing processes.
* Evaluate the need for a new procurement model in B2B segment.
* Increase the level of satisfaction of buyers and management areas.EDUCATION REQUIRED: Any university degree.
Above all we are looking for someone who is a team player and motivated to analyze and redefine our processes.TECHNICAL KNOWLEGE* Knowledge of procurement Model (MCT) and systems.
* Data analysis.
* Current office automation and AI tools.
* ERP/GEP Procurement Platform (desirable)PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE* Experience of at least 3 years in similar roles* Experience in organizations with matrix leadership.
* Experience in Project Management and Deployment & leading innovation projects.LANGUAGES* Spanish and English, high level.
