The role could be based at our Centre in Wantage (UK) or preferably at one of our plant's locations in EMEA.
The scope of the role is to support the 14 manufacturing locations in Europe (UK, France, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Greece, Poland and Turkey) and 5 in MEA (UAE, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia).
You will be also involved in project work at new greenfield sites and newly acquired manufacturing locations.Your mission in Crown: Join us and participate in all the improvement activities of electromechanical and conveying activities of the Automation & Control areas in order to improve all standards of the manufacturing processes in terms of quality, cost and efficiency.
It covers existing and new production lines post-commissioning to facilitate quick and efficient ramping-up through advanced skills development at an operational level.
The improvement activities mainly relate to manufacturing processes optimisation, technical and operational support/advice/coaching and training for the 19 production sites in the EMEA region.Primary areas of activity and responsibility will include:Power distribution and protectionElectrical installations and improvementsCup & Can HandlingEnd HandlingLine ControlsBottleneck analysisSmartline system optimisationsYou primarily provide plant operational support for Electrical Power and Control systems, electromechanical aspects of conveying, line control schemes and specifications of electrical and mechanical components of conveying systems and packing machines.
You support in maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting, implementing best practices and follow-up with issues and improvement projects.
You realise line operation and technical audits and propose improvements opportunities through respective projects.
You promote the development of SOP's, Best Practices and Cost Reduction Programmes for regular operation and changeover conditions.
You deliver classroom and hands-on the job training in electrical installations, conveying, control and packaging equipment
