CIDETEC Energy Storage is looking for a Process Engineer to work in the Energy Materials Unit. We are seeking a person with project and people management skills including technical task planning, analysis of results, writing monitoring reports for clients, and R&D team leader. We design and develop cells, modules, and battery packs tailored to our customers' needs, with a clear focus on technology transfer to industry.
Your contribution: Analyzing the assembly process and identifying critical parameters to optimize the process.Determining failure modes of the assembled cells, relating them to the corresponding assembling step, and defining corrective actions to mitigate the failures.Closely communicating with machine suppliers during new equipment search and new equipment fine-tuning at facilities.Elaborating process documentation.You will also be involved in:

Knowledge: The successful candidate will demonstrate sound knowledge in:
Manufacturing processes.Mechanical setup development.CAD Programming (Solidworks, Autocad, etc.).Others: Technical knowledge on batteries will be considered a plus.Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.Being able to carry out several lines of work simultaneously, optimizing resources and maximizing results.Observations: A highly motivated person, with a keen interest in research and innovation, you will join a multidisciplinary team.You will be able to organize your work, meeting both the deadlines and the established objectives.Problem-solving capacity and scientific criteria.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
