The candidate for this position will be responsible for monitoring the operations of our systems, including quality and compliance.
The candidate should also be able to recommend improvements to the process through the tracking of metrics and reporting of data.
The candidate should definitely have strong technical abilities in order to succeed in this role.
How You Will Do It: Functional objectives: Optimize, standardize and stabilize the process in the production (breaker, furnaces and alloying) areas and in other installations of the plant.Find, define and track technical improvement projects.Project manage and supervise start-up projects for new machinery or installations.Lead and coordinate teams.Main Tasks: Supervise projects for technical improvement of machinery and processes.Coordinate teams to implement plans and projects in the minimum necessary period of time.Design technical improvements to increase machinery efficiency or to adapt it to new products or processes.Collaborate with maintenance specialists with proposals and solutions for technical problems.Track projects to implement newly developed processes into the production.Find, define and track projects with the help of six sigma tools to:Reduce variation in the production processes.Reduce material use in the metallurgical processes.Achieve rejects and non-compliance products reduction goals.Be the interface between Product/Process, Maintenance and Production areas in regard to processes.Support project work of the team members.Work out a portfolio for all projects to be processed in the team.Manage teams to solve problems or to implement projects (revamping, modification) in the production process.Compare processes in other plants with the internal process and find out improvement possibilities.What We Look For: Degree in chemistry, chemical or industrial engineering.Minimum 5 years of job experience in the process engineering area.MS Office (Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Sound knowledge of metallurgical processes, ideally for lead smelting.SAP experience FI / CO.Strong communication skills to effectively disseminate process information.Innovative and practical problem-solving abilities to address process challenges.Familiarity with process control.Excellent written and oral skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Attention to detail and accuracy.Willingness to learn.Management Skills.Who we are: Clarios is the creator behind the world's most recognizable car battery brands.
