Position: Process Engineer (Fluids specialist) Location: Santiago de Compostela, Spain LUZA Group is recruiting for a client company in the sustainable fish farming sector, focused on opportunities in logistics, distribution, and aquaculture.
Mission Guaranteeing with an integral and multidisciplinary approach the technical installations necessary for the correct development of the projects ensuring the new facilities comply with the company strategy related to the expansion and innovation (execute the company's growth plan and test innovative ways of farming) in the area of responsibility for each department.
Main Objectives Ensure the design of technical installations complies with the goals (Schedule, Cost, Scope, and Quality) and specifications defined for each project.
To guarantee compliance with the regulations in the installation projects carried out.
Identify needs of improvement and propose innovative ways to resolve it.
Work in a collaborative way with all areas involved in the expansion and innovation projects.
Define all tests or trials related with installations to validate innovative ideas in coordination with Functional Design Supervisors.
Respect the work instructions according to the Quality and Environment System.
Successfully develop the different assigned projects autonomously, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, meeting the main KPIs (CAPEX, OPEX, profitability, quality), analyzing the risks associated with the project, schedule control and all project management tasks.
Tasks Design of technical installations (water treatment, climate control, heating, cooling, pumping and piping), while complying with the goals (Schedule, Cost, Scope, and Quality) and specifications defined for each project.
Sourcing and negotiation with external suppliers, selection and purchase of equipment, with administrative support from other members of the team.
Identify needs of improvement and propose innovative ways to resolve it.
Coordinate the monitoring on site for all the test or trials related with installations.
Coordinate follow up and conclusion reports for the trials and tests.
Coordinate and manage projects in an autonomous manner.
Assure correct communication with all members of the team and parties involved.
Job Profile Training and Education: University degree in industrial engineering, specializing in mechanics or chemical engineering, specializing in water treatment process.
Experience: +5 years of experience in installations design; +5 years of Project management; At least 2 years in in-field experience and start-up of installations.
Specific Abilities and Skills: Proficient English and Spanish speaker (professional conversation) Able to work under multidisciplinary teams Project management skills Analytic and critical mindset AutoCAD proficient user Excel proficient user Presto proficient user BIM software user (Autodesk Revit, CypeCAD) Knowledge in industrial installation (HVAC, Firefighting, thermic installation, water distribution, electricity, automation, oxygen, ozone) Experience in water treatment projects will be an asset.
