#GrowWhatMatters You Will Be Part of Growing Team What You'll Do: Support day-to-day operations to meet business needs.
Support process automation strategy, configuration, and ongoing support needs associated with DCS migration project.
Identify and implement process automation improvements to streamline work, improve operability and quality, and reduce cost.
Guide and train area personnel on process automation methodology in order to assist process control improvement effort.
Assist unit technology teams to develop and implement long-range plans for process control improvements.
Support or lead process automation related activities of capital and improvement projects.
Provide process automation checkout and start-up support of facilities in order to meet production schedules and meet business needs.
Ensure adequate documentation systems for site control strategies to maintain the integrity of control strategies.
Participate in Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) and Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA) as a core PHA team member.
Perform as an Instrumented Protective System (IPS) Functional Safety Expert (FSE) and/or IPS Focal Point to ensure all IPS requirements are met including Safety Requirements Specification and Functional Safety Assessment and/or maintenance and training of IPSs on site.
Support alarm management activities at the sites, potentially acting as the Alarm Management Focal point and supporting rationalization, monitoring, and audit.
Support identification and implementation of company-required cybersecurity measures.
Qualifications: What Skills You Need: BS degree in Engineering (e.G., Chemical, Electrical, Computer, or similar) OR 5+ years automation experience in comparable manufacturing units/DCS platforms.
Understanding of fundamental/advanced control strategies and loop tuning strategies.
Understanding of control systems including specifying equipment, configuring network data points, building graphics, logic configuration, and performing system backups.
Understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements including safety instrumented systems (IEC 61511) and management of change procedures.
Ability to participate and lead high performance teams to scope, design, and implement projects is required
