We're looking for a talented Privacy Data Protection Legal Counsel to join our growing team at eDreams ODIGEO, a technological leader in the travel industry.

What you will do: The Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks As a Privacy Data Protection Counsel, you will be part of the Legal Department, supporting both the strategy and daily operations in our Data Protection Office, reporting to the Head of Privacy Data Protection Officer.
You will be in charge of: Being an expert advisor on international privacy and data protection laws, including cutting-edge areas like AI regulation.
Helping us develop and implement innovative privacy tools and technologies.
Partnering with cross-functional teams to navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes.
Promoting a culture of privacy awareness through engaging training sessions.
Staying ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends and legal updates.
Contributing to a thriving knowledge base for all things privacy-related.
Working with a passionate team at the forefront of data privacy and AI.
What you need to succeed: Job Requirements 3+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, digital compliance, and a strong understanding of digital laws and standards such as AI.
A European Law degree (ideally from Spain) and membership of a European Bar (if permitted by law), with experience dealing with the Spanish Data Protection Authority.
Fluency in English and Spanish (at least C1 level) as the role requires daily communication in both languages.
Highly skilled at problem-solving, communication, and data analysis.
Thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.
Good to have: Experience with OneTrust and Atlassian tools (Jira Confluence).
Experience in the travel industry providing advice on privacy matters.
Additional postgraduate degree or certifications in data protection (CIPP, CIPM), IT, security information, or project management.
Fluency in another European language (French, German, Italian).
