Samsøe Samsøe is looking for a Print & Jersey Designer (Maternity Cover) who will be responsible for the design of prints and our offer made from jersey in the Womenswear team.
RESPONSIBILITIES Overseeing the AOP & placement of print designs Supporting the design of the 4 annual collections, Basic line and potentially also Express/Exclusive capsules Assisting in the design process for the jersey category within womenswear Developing seasonal artworks and prints, from the research, design, set-up until the artworks/patterns are confirmed for production Creating both bespoke artworks, and making changes to artworks from third parties Commenting on and approving all colour creations, fabric handlooms, and trims from suppliers and subsequent handover to the production team Creating production-ready artwork files to communicate designs to partners Closely aligning with menswear, pattern design, the production team, and the sales team Participating in design trend workshop, input for mood boards, prints and colours Organising the print & fabric archive Working towards our sustainability goals and implementing our Materials Strategy on the jersey collection Collaborating closely with buyers for sourcing, pricing and development Creating all style setups in our PLM-system YOUR PROFILE Creative, with extensive knowledge of printing techniques & design process Organised & self-sufficient High proficiency in all Adobe applications Clo3D experience is appreciated, but not a requirement International experience is appreciated, but not a requirement WE OFFER A creative position in a fast-growing international company located at Nørrebro, Copenhagen A modern and international atmosphere A job with many possibilities and opportunities for professional development The position is based at the Head Office in Copenhagen.
