Principal System Analyst - Testing Platform: Partner with IT team members and the client community to deliver testing solutions that utilize underlying technology in support of business objectives to improve quality and productivity.
Activities include analysis, interpretation, identifying trends and addressing corrective actions to the management.
Responsibilities will primarily baseline IT process review and support, reporting and analysis duties and include leading and participation on project/product teams.
This would include the ongoing maintenance, optimization, 3rd-level support and basic technology consulting.
Accountability for the supported services.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the development, maintenance and continuous improvement for both code-based and non-code based testing solutions, tools and frameworks, and ensure a great user experience.Work together with the rest of the team to drive their adoption by enabling our users through clear and impactful presentations, documentation and trainings around best practices.Provide 3rd level support by resolving challenging issues and/or helping to identify suitable workarounds.In collaboration with our IT Infrastructure colleagues and external vendors, care for the smooth performance and stability of our testing solutions.Work with the architects and the product leadership looking into the future and contribute to the Platform and Testing strategy to ensure improvement of our overall testing services.Connect with the EDP Development team to share customer feedback, which helps to improve user experience and our platform's technology backbone.Ensure that testing solutions are well documented, tested and conform with compliance expectations.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.At least 5 years of experience working as part of an Agile engineering team practicing Continuous Delivery.
Since you will contribute to our open-source project OpenDevStack on GitHub, experience in contributing to Git repositories is a must.
Previous experience in contributing to open-source projects will be a strong plus.Experience working with a variety of testing solutions, tools and frameworks i.e.
Tricentis suite products (Tosca, Neoload, Data Integrity), Junit Spock, Cypress.
Experience in LoadRunner, Chaos Engineering/Monkey Testing will be considered a plus.Knowledge about orchestrators (ideally Jenkins and Tekton), artifact repositories (ideally Nexus), source code review engines (ideally SonarQube), containerization software (ideally RedHat OpenShift or Kubernetes) and the Atlassian stack (BitBucket, Jira, Confluence) are a must since these are the basic components of our Enterprise Development Platform (EDP).Experience with software monitoring tools (like Dynatrace) will be appreciated.Experience operating systems in regulated environments, especially Pharma industry good practices (GxP), will be appreciated.Strong skills on problem solving, customer focus and team player.Ability to work effectively within an international and intercultural environment.Excellent spoken and written English.
