To speed up medical processes, make them safer and more accessible to a wide range of people.
The team you're joining is working on solving Kubernetes operations at a large scale. Ultimately aiming at deploying and managing thousands, even tens-of-thousands of Kubernetes clusters around the world. To get there, we not only have to fully automate all processes around that orchestration, but also focus on great developer experience for our users. All this requires a lot of software. Like APIs, developer tooling and new features and bug fixes in existing open source solutions.

The opportunity: You contribute to the development of the area through coding, including contributions to open source software that we use or maintain. Writing and implementing design documents (RFCs) and documenting your creations, as well as ensuring great automated test coverage.
Serving as a role model - and helping the team to follow software engineering best-practices.
Who you are: You are a skilled and experienced software engineer, who brings a strong theoretical foundation and 10+ years of experience in designing, building and operating large-scale production software systems.
You have experience in any coding language, ideally working with a focus around the Python/Go ecosystem.
You believe in fostering an engineering-first mentality to ensure that we do meaningful work with a result-oriented mindset, prioritizing the quality of our code while embracing continuous improvement and learning, all within a culture of teamwork.
Preferred: Kubernetes

Experience in test automation (pytest, playwright)
