The Position Recognized internally as an expert in own job discipline. Has broad knowledge/skill set of related disciplines in the field. Your main responsibilities: Partners with business and software development team(s) to translate business/customer needs into technological solutions.Makes influential and expert contributions to strategic directions and projects through knowledge of technology and its creative applications.Prepares for and participates in Program Increment (PI) planning with the program. Heavily involved in program backlog refinement and prioritization.Collaborates with Product Manager and System/Solution Architect(s) to provide the program with technical roadmap guidance and contributes to the conversation with regards to technology choices, quality assurance, and innovative approaches.Participates in program sync meetings to coordinate with teams, program leadership, and solutions to ensure successful delivery of customer value.Leveraging agreed-upon acceptance criteria, quality assurance, and definition of done, is responsible for formally accepting/approving completion of all capabilities and features being delivered by the program.Assists and influences the team to focus on customer centricity, built-in software quality, and holistic system design thinking in addition to technical excellence.Participates in and leads by example in program and technical discussions (including participation in planning, technical assessments, program leadership meetings, design reviews, and retrospectives).Works with System Architect to introduce architectural enablers, conduct feasibility studies, and trade-off analyses to maintain architectural runway.Develops high-quality proof-of-concepts and rapid prototypes for transfer to scrum team experts.Reviews and critiques presentations for others; presents complex technical data to large and diverse groups.Consistently and effectively presents complex technical concepts, innovations/initiatives, and project outcomes, both internally and externally, to large and diverse groups.Consults on software development and design-related concerns and provides strategic direction and alignment to overall software best practices and customer-centric approaches. Who you are Demonstrates systems thinking proficiency, creativity, collaboration with others, and independent thought.Ability to understand business requirements and customer needs and translate them into software design.Ability to manage expectations when balancing design alternatives between business and technical constraints.Understands and uses expert practices for requirements management, systems design, user experience development, and usability.Mentors others in requirements management, systems design, user-experience development, and usability.Demonstrates strong technical skills in Visual Studio, VS Code, C#, WPF, Web APIs, and Angular development.Expertise in MS SQL server performance tuning and optimization, ETL, SSRS.Knowledge of HL7, lab workflow, and system integrations.Ability to influence others to get a consensus on the best solutions for Roche and the customer.Mentors others in SW planning processes and practices.
