Overview of the role: As a Process Safety Advisor, you will support and develop the growing workload in the field of explosive atmospheres and other process safety activities (e.g., HAZOP and LOPA facilitation).
You will be an integral part of world-class design teams and have a high impact on the projects you are involved with.
Key elements of the role include: Assisting in the management of a growing team of DSEAR practitioners around the United Kingdom and worldwideProviding support and coaching to junior staff involved in DSEAR related activitiesPromoting awareness of DSEAR across the businessPreparation and review of reports assessing potentially explosive atmospheresDeveloping client relationshipsOther elements of the role may include: HAZOP facilitationLOPA facilitationCOMAH reportingMinimum Requirements: Have a recognised professional qualification such as Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer or sufficient equivalent experienceHave knowledge, understanding and experience of assessing potentially explosive atmospheresBe proactive with good organisational capabilityHave the ability to work to budgets and time constraintsHave a demonstrable interest in wider process safetyBe keen to work in a collaborative environmentHave good technical writing skillsWe are actively recruiting a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve, and we encourage applications from people of all backgrounds.
