Job Description Atradius, a global leader in credit insurance and risk management, is seeking an experienced Lead Power BI Engineer to spearhead our Data Platform team.Atradius provides a dynamic environment where professionals can thrive and make significant impact.As the Lead Power BI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving Atradius business intelligence initiatives forward, leading a team of talented BI developers, and architecting cutting-edge solutions to deliver actionable insights.Key responsibilities: Mentor other Power BI engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to drive excellence in business intelligence solutions.Architect end-to-end Power BI solutions, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.Design and optimize Power BI data models, reports, and dashboards to provide intuitive and actionable insights to business stakeholders.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, reliability, and usability of Power BI solutions, implementing automation and optimization strategies.Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and governance policies for Power BI development, ensuring data integrity, security and compliance.Provide technical leadership and guidance on Power BI architecture, integration with other systems, and emerging technologies, staying abreast of industry trends and innovations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Power BI solutions with existing systems and data sources, maximizing value and efficiency.Be a key contributor to the Power BI enablement strategy at Atradius to ensure correct use and maximize the value of the tool in business processes.Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.5+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing complex Power BI solutions applying market best practices.Proven experience leading and mentoring BI teams, with a track of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.Extensive knowledge of Power BI architecture, and integration capabilities, with experience in embedded and shared reports.Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in optimizing performance and scalability of Power BI solutions in large data environments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Strategic mindset with a focus on driving innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering business value through Power BI solutions.Fluent in spoken and written English.Nice to have: Power BI certifications.Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure and familiarity with Azure services.Knowledge of other BI tools such as Tableau, R-Shiny or Qlik.Previous experience in the credit insurance or risk management industry What do we offer?A dynamic, international and challenging work environmentTraining and support to reach your full potential including the opportunity for continuous professional developmentAttractive terms and conditions, including competitive salary, pension package and a range of flexible benefits and rewardsChallenging tasks with individual development and training opportunitiesHybrid working modality, 80% working remotely.
