Fresco is looking for a Principal Platform Engineer for our IoT Team with Python and AWS experience to drive the design and development of the next generation of our multi-sided smart kitchen platform: the Fresco KitchenOS. As a Principal Platform Engineer, you'll: Lead the Architectural Vision: Define and champion the technical roadmap for Fresco KitchenOS IoT Platform, ensuring scalability for millions of users. We're looking for someone with: 8+ years of experience leading and architecting highly scalable distributed systems for IoT (millions of devices!). 5+ years of experience managing and delivering secure IoT platform deployments. Proven leadership: A demonstrated track record of leading and inspiring high-performing engineering teams. Technical Mastery: In-depth expertise in Python, AWS (including IoT Core, S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda), and data platform architectures. Security Champion: A strong commitment to building and maintaining secure IoT platforms. Exceptional communication: The ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strategic thinker: A keen understanding of the competitive landscape and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans. A passion for learning: A relentless drive to stay ahead of the curve and embrace new technologies. Fluent English is a must. Bonus points if you have: A Master's degree in computer science or a related field. Experience in a leadership role within a high-growth technology company.
