We are Anchor Point Studios and we're looking for a Principal Level Designer to help us build the future of mind-blowing video game entertainment for a new, innovative 3D action title.
Reporting into our Lead Level Designer you will drive the creation of gameplay environments and experiences across the game from initial concept to release. Additionally you will find yourself immersed with:
Helping develop best practices while setting the quality bar.Create robust levels, enemy encounters, puzzles and scripted events.Engage in cross department communication and collaboration as it pertains to levels - work with engineers, artists, productions, leads and directors to ensure levels flow, scale and behave as intended.Work closely with systems and AI designers to ensure that your levels showcase their excellent work, and vice versa.Requirements and Skills: Demonstrable experience as a level designer on at least one AAA action title.Experience with Unreal Engine and Blueprint scripting.Experience with Dungeon Architect is a plus.Experience with text-based scripting systems is a plus.Clear, concise planning and communication skills.Curiosity, kindness, professionalism, and a positive can-do attitude.Why Anchor Point Studios?
