Voodoo is creating a new studio with a very exciting and ambitious mission: release the next $1B Match 3 game, pioneering the next generation in this category. We aim to elevate quality and innovation in casual, redefine industry standards, and deliver fun to a broad audience. You will be joining this studio as Principal Game Designer. Role To achieve our mission, we're launching a new casual studio and bringing on board top talent and seasoned veterans from the mobile games industry. As the Principal Game Designer, you will report directly to the Studio GM and lead the creative development of an innovative Match3 project. Your responsibilities will include: Define creative vision: Develop and communicate the long-term creative direction for our match-3 prototypes, ensuring alignment with the studio's goals and strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with engineering, art, and product teams to ensure cohesive game development and seamless integration of all elements. Establish design workflows: Develop and refine processes, methodologies, and tools to foster efficient and innovative game design in a startup environment. Develop and execute the studio testing strategy: Implement a comprehensive testing and iteration framework to drive data-informed design decisions and player-focused improvements. Drive player-centric design: Leverage player feedback and market research to refine gameplay and ensure a compelling and satisfying player experience. Coordinate with our Growth team: Partner with the growth and marketing teams to align design iterations with marketability strategies and optimize the game's appeal. Profile Seasoned professional: With over 5 years of experience as a game designer, you bring a proven record across both new and live game projects. Passionate gamer: Deeply engaged with a variety of entertainment and gaming experiences, and driven to create the next major Match-3 hit. Creative problem solver: Think innovatively, embrace uncertainty, and find effective solutions while knowing when to streamline for simplicity
