We are looking for a Principal Experience Designer to join the team.

The Principal User Experience Designer will assist the UX lead in developing the XD vision of our product and carrying out that vision. This Principal role will work closely with the UX lead located in North America and will help ensure that the UX efforts in the Barcelona office are carried out with top-notch outcomes and are in line with the franchise leads' vision. This role leads the effort in innovative and groundbreaking design solutions to create user-centered design solutions that promote ease of use, employ outstanding game/interaction design, and optimize the user experience universally in response to user testing.
Lead all phases of the design process, including conceptual design/development, graphic and interface design, interaction models, prototypes, user flows, and art production.
Works closely with franchise stakeholders to establish and maintain the game's visual integrity, interaction methods, brand standards, and consistency; collaborates with product management and engineering to execute the design.
Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with the product and design teams to conceptualize, define, and develop features that yield extraordinary experiences for our players.
Create user flows, interface wireframes, prototypes, and design documentation.
Create UI design/layouts
Create high-fidelity mock-ups for pre-visualization during pre-production
Create UI art and visual design for user interfaces
Collaborate with the art team to define/adhere to a thematic art style
Design (and create) functional animation for user interactions
Prepare assets for implementation in the Unity game engine
Be the owner of UX for multiple game feature pods
Set examples, guides, and standard methodologies in UI/UX for others in your game team
Participate in critiques, product reviews, and retrospectives
Mentor senior UI/UX staff
Collaborate with UI/UX staff from other game teams to share findings and develop standard methodologies across the organization.

Experienced in traditional game development methods, engine-specific interface creation, and collaboration with technical counterparts for seamless integration and optimization for mobile game development.
Skilled in Unity Game Engine, capable of creating and implementing user interfaces in complex game infrastructure.
Ability to create new assets that adhere to an established visual style and further develop that style, ensuring consistency and innovation in design aesthetics
Level of Experience 6+ years of experience in the game development industry specializing in UX, having worked on 3+ different game titles.
Software Expertise, specifically in Figma, Photoshop, and Unity
