IAG Tech's vision is to increase shareholder value, accelerate business performance, delight customers, enable employees, and protect our business through the innovative and agile use of technology and data.Job DescriptionPurpose of the role- Drive the enterprise/solution/data architecture thought leadership, effectively influencing stakeholders to help define the future state.- Identify opportunities to work across IAG Tech to underpin the successful delivery of major architectural initiatives.- Management of supplier relationships, ensuring any third-party deliverables meet strategic, technical and cost requirements.- Identification and execution of continual improvement opportunities, ensuring the best outcomes for IAG and its operating companies, driving optimal solutions through the implementation of the architecture roadmap.- Develop and maintain relationships within the Group and externally to identify and promote best practice and industry trends, translating these into strategy, policies, standards and best practice.AccountabilitiesWorking in partnership with IAG Tech and the business to:- Ensure all architecture activity in their area is aligned in terms of business vision and goals.- Provide expertise to programme and project managers with the design, planning & governance of projects and business initiatives in relation to architecture.- Collaborate with Architects in other areas as required and ensures any solution within their specific specialism fits with the business and technical architecture and strategic direction.- Recognise opportunities for business or IT change, communicates them persuasively to appropriate stakeholders.- Lead the production and ensure the quality, timely delivery and appropriateness of architecture artefacts.- Develop and document the current and future state architecture. Continuously monitor the documentation and update them as necessary to show changes, additions, and alterations. Make them actionable by balancing architecture recommendations with the optimum solution for IAG, creating transition roadmaps and influencing the portfolio to realise them by managing the overall design that underlies a projected solution, providing end to end solution and design details.- Choose appropriate architectural viewpoints to develop based on practicality and fit for purpose
