Your Mission Infinity Ward is looking for a dedicated Principal Animation/Physics Engineer with a strong interest in crafting scalable systems and behaviors. The successful candidate will be ready to tackle various engineering challenges vital to delivering believability and style across diverse situations and expansive game modes. You will work with design/art teams and other engineers to architect, prototype, and implement new features to expand our limits and deliver increased believability continuously. Additionally, you will develop and upgrade workflows to allow the efficient building, improvement, and debugging of animation and physics behaviors for content teams and engineers alike. Support and proactively collaborate with team members at Activision studios across the world.
Minimum Requirements: 10+ years of professional programming experience with a recent focus on complex datasets, content iteration, and networking for video games.Expertise in C / C++ in multithreaded environments.Strong 3D math and linear algebra.Bonus Points: Experience programming on multiple game consoles.Experience with first-person shooters and multiplayer action games.We love hearing from anyone who is enthusiastic about changing the games industry.
