Job Description: MPS is looking for a Principal Analog Design Engineer to join the Automotive BMS Product Line. As a part of the team, you will be focused on analog design with the ability to collaborate on the product's definition, testability, and end applications robustness. This is a great opportunity where your success is only limited by your creativity.
Responsibilities Design low power precision analog and mixed signal circuits including but not limited to: LDO's, Charge Pumps, Bandgaps, Amplifiers, and/or DAC's, ADC's. Influence architectural decisions to ensure system/sub-system technical performance requirements are achieved. Develop macro models and participate in top level simulation. Actively participate in the entire product development cycle. Determine design-for-test strategies to evaluate system/sub-system/block performance. Provide guidance to layout engineers on critical analog implementation aspects, monitor progress of layouts, and close the loop with post layout extraction and simulation. Work with a team of engineers to evaluate intended product behavior pre tape-out and post tape-out. Participate in hiring and mentoring of junior engineers. Preferred Qualification Requires Master's Degree or Equivalent in Electrical Engineering. 10+ years' experience within analog design. Highly motivated individual. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of transistor level design. Experience within BCD process. Experience with mixed signal design. Location: Barcelona, Spain
