At the forefront of British education internationally, King's College School La Moraleja is seeking to appoint an inspiring, collaborative and forward-thinking professional to the position of Teacher of Primary for a Maternity Cover, for pupils in our primary school which runs from Pre-Nursery to Year 6.
Situated in Madrid's most exclusive and sought-after neighbourhood, King's La Moraleja is a private British school that combines academic rigour with a strong sense of community to deliver a transformative learning experience to its pupils from Pre-Nursery up to Year 11.
Consistently rated 'Excellent' in all areas by the BSO International School Inspectorate (most recently in 2022/23 academic year), King's La Moraleja stands apart as Spain's first 'High-Performance Learning World Class School' (accredited in 2020 and 2023) and for our continued commitment to staff and student wellbeing, receiving the 'Wellbeing Award for Schools' in 2023.
Further, In September 2020 the school opened a newly refurbished second site a stone's throw from our existing, purpose built, campus. Our new, state-of-the-art facility primarily houses students from Pre-Nursery to the start of Key Stage 2. We expect to experience growth year on year for the foreseeable future. We offer a relocation package, a full induction programme and school places for staff members with children.
This complementary approach to education enables our students to excel, a fact highlighted by the outstanding performance of recent IGCSE Classes of 2022 (46% of results achieved 9's) and 2023 (31% of results achieved 9's).
Joining the King's La Moraleja staff team means joining a group of creative, open-minded and forward-facing professionals who are motivated to deliver a personalised and high-quality education to all.
A career at King's La Moraleja also opens the door to a wider network of professional development and opportunity. We are a flagship member of the Inspired Group of Schools, a leading global premium schools group educating over 100,0000 students across an international network of over 100 schools on 6 continents.
