Pricing & Market Access Manager - Spain Dyy309

The Pricing & Market Access Manager will be responsible for the design of Vertex's Pricing and Reimbursement (P&R) strategies to support access to Vertex's Cystic Fibrosis (CF) products and future drug pipeline. This role will manage P&R activities with national health authorities comprising value dossier submissions and communication. Reporting into the Director, Pricing & Market Access Iberia, this role is hybrid-eligible based in Madrid, Spain.Key Duties and Responsibilities Drive and coordinate with cross-functional peers the direction of local, regional and national-level price and access opportunities and mitigation of potential risks.Strategically guide and develop the preparation and submission of price and reimbursement dossiers required by national/regional/hospital payers and health decision-makers.Leverage, analyze and customize health economic and clinical data into simple compelling value messages for payers, regulators, and policy-makers to support price and access activities.Ensure training on payer materials including product value proposition, evidence and value story for Field Market Access and cross-functional teams.Leverage intelligence to assist with identifying, segmenting, profiling and defining national key accounts - e.G. hospitals, purchase groups, guideline providers etc.Monitor key performance indicators related to Market Access activities and keep metric source databases updated.Required Education, Experience and Skills Graduate/College degree in medical or pharmaceutical sciences, economics or business.Demonstrate appropriate level of leadership experience to lead and influence, perform with high levels of competence, confidence and credibility.Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision and manage workload to meet critical deadlines under challenging time constraints.Understanding of the Spanish healthcare market dynamics, policy, price and access pathways.Proven relevant industry/consulting experience.Strong Excel, Power Point, and Word skills.
