Mobile Devices and Digital Risk (MDDR) is providing Insurance and services to protect customers' mobile phones, electronic devices and home appliances against accidental damages and internal breakdown as well as solutions combining insurance and services to protect customers against digital risk.
Reporting directly to the Senior Lead Actuarial & Portfolio Management, the Pricing Actuary Expert will work on:
Development of pricing models and toolsTechnical portfolio analysis (Frequency, Severity, Earning patterns) and performance estimateProject management, e.g. on cost allocationFor Pricing you will:
Develop a pricing tool roadmapTake ownership of development of pricing models and toolsManage and further build up our underlying product database used to perform severity and frequency analysis on certain productsCollaborate closely with Case Underwriting teamRun complex projects for Actuarial TeamFor the Performance and Forecast Analysis you will:
Carry out regular and ad-hoc performance analysis and provide actuarial recommendationsConduct frequency and severity analysis for selected accountsPerform forecasting of technical performance of large accounts or portfoliosRepresent LoB in complex technical projectsDefine data requirements and data collection processesKey requirements/What you bring Tertiary qualification in mathematics, actuarial science or similar qualification5+ years' experience in actuarial work in the insurance or reinsurance fieldAbility to run and drive complex projectsStrong communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate with various teams across departments and different countriesFluent in English, fluency in other languages is an advantageExperience working with Python / MS SQLKey benefits/What we offer Our employees play an integral part in our success as a business.
