As data analyst in the Pricing Analytics COE, you will work closely with Data engineers and Data scientists, playing a crucial role in data validation and data preparation for our pricing analytics projects. One of your main responsibilities will be to translate the business requirements into technical and data needs, while your second responsibility will be analyzing the data to drive insights that can support monitoring for our live projects.About you:You are a data driven person, with a passion to identify patterns in the data, identify the root cause, and propose solutions;You have experience in creating / maintaining ETL pipelines;You have experience with data stewardship, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and completeness;You are passionate about coding, simplifying the complex, automation and making processes more efficient.What you will be doing:Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability for analysis;Perform UAT on new data feeds and translate business requirements to Data Engineering team;Identify opportunities to simplify and automate data pipelines;Conduct data analysis to gain insights into business processes, performance, and trends;Identify opportunities to automate data analyses and streamline reporting;Leverage ETL pipelines in R / Python as well as analytics/visualization tools like Excel, PowerBI and Tableau to transform raw data into meaningful insights.What we are looking for (Must-haves):At least 3 years of experience in data analysis and business analysis;Experience in any of R, Python, PySpark, Spark;Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI/Tableau;Excellent analytical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills;Strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills;Bachelor or Master's degree in Business, Economics or any relevant field;Nice to have:Experience with Jira or similar project management and issue tracking tools;Experience in deploying ML and data science solutions;Experience with data management tools as Databricks or similar;Basic understanding of finance and product economics.About HP:You're out to reimagine and reinvent what's possible—in your career as well as the world around you.
