The Solution Engineer is a sales consultant responsible for presenting product offerings and solutions in the best light to prospects and customers to best meet their business objectives. Our Solution Engineers are able to take complex business solutions and pieces of technology and explain them in a simple and easy to understand way.

The role will give you the opportunity to:
Carefully listen to customer requirements and discover customer unspoken needsCompellingly deliver a Salesforce point-of-view on how to be successful in matching those needsSelling Salesforce solutions is all about making meaningful innovation available to everyone and a Solution Engineer has a pivotal role in the sales cycle. Solution Engineers make things happen. The role will also imply bringing product knowledge and expertise to marketing events and workshops. Responsibilities:
Understand customer goals and challenges and map those back to the Salesforce product portfolioDesign, build, and demonstrate unique and innovative solutions to address these challengesPresent Salesforce technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with the PaaS and SaaS stackParticipate in all appropriate product, sales, technical training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the positionAttain quarterly and annual objectives defined collaboratively with managementRespond effectively to RFIs/RFPsActive participation in a fast-paced high-energy market segment and balance multiple projects in a team-selling environmentMinimum Qualifications:
Proven experience as a solution/sales engineer or consultant for a CRM or SaaS company, or similar technologyDemonstrated leadership and mentorship skillsAnalytical skills to create the winning solutionSolid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills - ability to create and perform demonstrations of our solutionsAbility to work as part of a network of cross-functional teams to solve technical problemsAccommodations Posting Statement: At Salesforce we believe that the business of business is to improve the state of our world.
