NoOffer Description Applications are invited for a PhD position within the project HumanSUBthreat (Uncovering the human subcortical pathway for auditory threat detection; PI: Judith Domínguez-Borràs) which investigates the neural bases of emotion processing in the auditory and affective systems.Experimental design, data acquisition, and analysis for magnetic resonance imaging studies (functional and diffusion-weighted MRI).Review of scientific literature related to the project.Preparation and publication of scientific papers.Participation in scientific meetings and conferences.Undertaking research stays at other centers.Collaborating with the Principal Investigator (PI) and the rest of the team members on tasks related to the project.Minimum Requirements Hold a BSc/MSc in any field related to Neuroscience (Psychology, Cognitive Sciences, Computer Sciences, Medicine, Biology, Engineering, Physics) and fulfil the requirements to be admitted into the Brain, Cognition and Behaviour PhD program at the Universitat de Barcelona.Experience in neuroimaging (functional / diffusion MRI / neuroimaging analysis)Knowledge of psychoacousticsMotivation to work intensely, and availability to travel as part of the candidate's training.Languages: ENGLISH Level ExcellentResearch Field: Computer science, NeurosciencesYears of Research Experience: 1 - 4Additional Information A full-time work contract (37.5 hrs/week).
