JOB POSITION: PRE-DOCTORAL RESEARCHER (I-PI 65-24)University of Alicante call for applications to cover an open-ended contractual pre-doctoral research position to collaborate with the project "Study of renewable energy and hydrogen production, storage and distribution from biomass as a vector for a sustainable energy transition" of the University Institute of Materials. Number of vacancies and features of the job vacancyNumber of job vacancies: one.Job position: Pre-doctoral Researcher.Working hours: 37.5 hours/week in the morning/afternoon sessions.Remuneration: €1.321,43 gross/monthly during the first and second year of the contract, and €1.364,08 gross/monthly during the third year, plus extra payments in accordance with current regulations, plus the salary increases as approved by law for each year.Estimated duration of the contract: 3 years.The successful applicant will collaborate in the research project "Study of renewable energy and hydrogen production, storage and distribution from biomass as a vector for a sustainable energy transition (PLEC2023-010216)" developing doctoral training in the area of Materials Science with the aim of preparing a doctoral thesis within the scope of this project and carrying out the following research tasks:Preparation and characterisation of carbonaceous materials for use as electrodes in supercapacitors.Functionalisation of carbonaceous materialsCharacterisation using in-situ electrochemical techniques.Preparation of scientific articles.Third. Job profile.Preference will be given to:Those with experience and training related to the tasks to be carried out on section two of the terms agreed.Qualification: Official university master's degree in Materials Science or any other official Master's degree with equivalent content.Fourth.
