Number of vacancies and features of the job vacancyNumber of job vacancies: one.Job position: Pre-doctoral Researcher.Working hours: 37.5 hours/week in the morning/afternoon sessions.Remuneration: €1,347.86 gross/monthly during the first and second year of the contract, and €1,391.36 gross/monthly during the third year, plus extra payments in accordance with current regulations.Estimated duration of the contract: 24 months, renewable annually, with an option for an additional 12 months depending on project duration and budget availability.Second. Purpose.The successful applicant will collaborate in the research project "Development of multiFUNctional FERTIlisers from fruit and vegetable waste (FERTIFUN)", developing doctoral training in collaboration with the University of Alicante research group 'Advanced Materials Lab (LMA)', with the aim of preparing a PhD thesis endorsed with "Industrial Certification".Tasks include:Development of fertilisers from fruit and vegetable waste by means of designed thermal hydro-humidification processes.Modification of the materials synthesised by incorporating specific additives.Characterisation of the materials prepared using different techniques to quantify nutrient content, humic and fulvic acids, chemical composition and moisture retention capacity.Third. Job profile.Preference will be given to candidates with:Experience and training related to:Preparation of carbon materials by HTC and HTT processes.Characterisation of the textural and chemical properties of the synthesised materials.Quantification of humic and fulvic acids.3.2. Qualification: Official university master's degree in Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Materials Science or equivalent.Fourth
