Participation in innovation projects, creation of experiences, representation of realistic cities, etc.
Utilize geoprocessing, spatial analysis and 3D analysis to perform project GIS tasks.
Knowledge on gathering, treating, georeferencing, digitizing, and geoprocessing, analyzing and interpreting both internal data (relational databases, Excels, geodatabases, etc) or external data (APIs, WMS, etc.)
in all different formats (SHP, geoJSON, JSON XML, KML/KMZ/GML…) for use in maps or reports.
Assists with analysis, research, design, and implementation of all mapping tools, templates, standards, and software as well as creates a knowledge base of standard templates and techniques.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Rigorously detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
Development of projects based on the high-level design provided by the business or the functional analysts of the department.
Support and resolution of incidents.
Attention to the user and support in the management of the change.
Detect inefficiencies, optimize processes and propose improvements in existing systems, applications and procedures.
Continuous improvement.
Skills/Background: Bachelor's degree in GIS related technology or any kind of engineering and architecture (geographers, urban planners, civil engineer, etc.).
No previous experience required (but will be a plus).
High level of English, both written and spoken.
Basic knowledge on GIS tools like QGIS, ArcGIS, etc.
Basic knowledge on Urban Planning and cadaster.
Different GIS data formats: .SHP, .geoJSON, .KML/KMZ/GML, etc.
Basic knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL).
Knowledge of ETL processes, Python, Databases, APIs, will be a plus.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
