The Role: Personio is looking for a PR Manager with a strong B2B background (agency or in-house) to join an impactful team at an exciting time for communications at one of Europe's most valuable start-ups. The role will lead communications in our growth regions, such as Spain, Benelux, and Nordics, and will drive thought leadership programmes. You will report into the Communications Lead and be part of a supportive and collaborative team whose remit includes Comms and PR, social media, and content strategy across Personio's focus markets. You will be responsible for ensuring that strong and incisive HR focused communications are a byword for Personio, delivering insight that can be taken to media across our entire PR operation and ensuring consistency of message. To do this, you will be comfortable working with teams in other marketing disciplines to assist in the creation of integrated campaigns, and you will be a voracious consumer of HR focused news and trends to ensure we remain on top of the news agenda. You will also be responsible for designing and delivering successful communications programmes with a focus on (but not limited to) supporting our growth in markets such as the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and Italy, covering corporate and HR focused communications. You are a true team player, with an entrepreneurial mindset that suits a competitive HR software market. You will bring creativity and energy to storytelling, finding new angles to explore and driving pan-European initiatives. You will excel at working to tight deadlines and managing relationships with Personio executives and other senior stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a creative and engaging PR programme in Growth marketsCreating thought leadership materials that differentiate us from the competition, cut through with media, and position us as a "most follow" brand for HR and business decision makersWorking with spokespeople to develop compelling points of view on key topicsMonitoring the news and reporting on all Personio media coverage on HR and relevant business topicsPrioritising media opportunities and preparing high-quality presentations, speeches, messaging, and other external materialsOrganising interviews, briefings, and press releases to promote Personio thought leadership and its products/services, and communicating the impact of PR and Comms activitiesActively cultivating and maintaining relationships with media and influential professionals to ensure favourable coverage of key programmes, events, and public announcementsMaximising brand presence and share of voice in business media while ensuring brand consistency across all channels and campaignsBeing a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and spokespersons to ensure a consistent and engaging message to the marketManaging PR agencies to collaboratively deliver on our goalsWhat you need to succeed:
