I will safeguard these pillars and ensure full knowledge and active participation in all our brand initiatives.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs Reservation Host, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:Run daily reports for the Reservation department and operational departments.Assist in the allocation of rooms.Check and handle special requests and hard blocking rooms as needed.Contact guests or travel agents to clarify any discrepancies in preferences or requests before guests' arrival.Track future room availabilities based on reservations.Monitor and update the internet reservation system in coordination with respected hosts.Assist in determining room rates based on the selling tactics of the resort.Assist in the management of the guest history and profile system.Ensure all reservations daily are completed with all necessary guest information, profile information, and rate/market/source codes with accuracy and efficiency.Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.QualificationsTo execute the position of Reservation Host, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results, which includes the following:High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in a similar setting.
Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.Technical skills include MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Familiarity with various hotel systems including PMS, GDS, and CRS platforms is required.Knowledge of hotel/resort policies regarding reservations, discounts, MICE platforms, and detailed procedures in handling local and overseas room bookings.Fluency in English and Spanish.The above is intended to provide an overview of the role and responsibilities for a Reservation Host at Six Senses Ibiza.
