Role overview: The Group Treasury Manager role is a key member of the Group Treasury function which has arisen due to continued global expansion and internal promotion.
As Group Treasury Manager, your responsibilities will include managing the Group's liquidity portfolio to enhance return at an appropriate level of risk.
You will build strong working relationships with senior management and stakeholders internal and external across the Group.
Responsibilities: Responsible for managing the Group's liquidity to enhance return at an appropriate level of risk.Management of the Group exposures to identify, review and optimise existing hedging strategies within the Group on currency and interest rate risk.Establish and manage relationships with Group finance, tax, legal and other commercial departments as well as other stakeholders.Assist the Director of Group Treasury in maintaining and developing financial institution relationships for the Group.Work with local and international Treasury teams to ensure the Group Treasury policy is adhered to.Support internal controls and process development.Assist with ongoing improvements and technology solutions in treasury.Review Group wide consolidated cashflows and working capital analysis.Support the production of the monthly Treasury Board report and quarterly Treasury Management Committee papers.Support on financing projects in the Group. Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed: An AMCT qualification or similar.Proven experience in a treasury role in a large corporate.Experience of using a TMS desirable.Experience with working alongside and influencing senior stakeholders.Strong analytical skills required in order to identify and remediate risks.Ability to investigate, understand and explain variances.Strong communication skills both written and verbal required.Ability to prioritise workloads to meet tight deadlines.Ability to work under your own initiative.Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Attention to detail and accuracy.A positive, flexible, enthusiastic and driven attitude.
