We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher to join our group working in Translational Research in Immunology and Cancer at IrsiCaixa, located at Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol (Biomedical Campus Can Ruti, Badalona).
Our team focuses on advancing knowledge of the immune response in bladder cancer and developing strategies to enhance responses to BCG immunotherapy.
The successful candidate will lead projects focused on elucidating immune response in bladder cancer patients, while also developing and implementing innovative strategies to improve therapeutic outcomes.
Job Duties: Leading and contributing to high-impact research projects. Writing of scientific publications, grants, and scientific reports. Presenting data within and outside the laboratory groups at meetings and symposia. Maintaining close communication with PI regarding progress. Supervising students in the laboratory. Coordinating stakeholders to design experiments, analyze, and interpret the data. Exploring novel research avenues and initiating cutting-edge projects in collaboration with an international network of partners. The position requires full-time dedication.
Some occasional evening flexibility may be required.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications: Competitive CV. Solid experience in cancer immunology, immune profiling techniques, and/or translational research. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Advanced written and oral communication skills in English. Written and oral communication skills in Spanish will be well considered. Motivation to explore new research avenues.
