The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Maseras research Group.
The position will be funded by the project "Explorando la mecanoquímica y la fotocatálisis con las herramientas de la catálisis homogénea computacional (MECHAPHOTOCOMP)" with reference Ref.
PID2023-149479NB-I00 of the Spanish Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades.

ICIQ is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work in the group of Prof. Feliu Maseras.
Responsibilities: Performing DFT calculations on the thermodynamics and barriers of chemical reactions.
Construction of databases of results, and processing of them with statistical tools.
Interaction with other researchers inside and outside the research group.
Creation of scientific reports and presentations, and collaboration in the writing of scientific publications.
Requirements: PhD in Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, or similar.
Experience in computational chemistry, Gaussian or similar code.
Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
Valued qualities: Experience in computational homogeneous catalysis.
Experience in the preparation of scripts in Python.
Good communication skills.
We offer: A temporary 3-year full-time employment contract.
Remuneration according to the Institute salary scales.
Annual salary split into twelve monthly payments.
Incorporation: February 1st, 2025.
