Proven expertise on anaerobic digestion technology. Bioinformatics. Experienced in national and international research projects and collaborations. Strong publication record. Oral and written communication skills in English. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project supports the ambitious goal set by the European Union aiming to produce 35 billion cubic meters of biomethane by 2030 as a replacement for natural gas. By demonstrating the potential of using high strength waste streams for methane production through anaerobic digestion, this project will play a crucial role in advancing circular economy principles. Tasks to be performed include: Explore the relationship between methane production and microbial populations. Assess the physical structure of anaerobic microbial systems. Communicate and disseminate research results through high-quality scientific channels including high impact scientific publications, presentation in congresses, etc. Writing project proposals to national and international calls related to the topic. Supervision of PhD, Master or undergraduate students. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION: 20/10/2024 OTHER INFORMATION: CV should be sent to before the deadline. The presentation of a motivation letter and references will be positively valued. #J-18808-Ljbffr
