NoOffer Description CREAF is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work as project manager in a study on the restoration of pollinator habitats in apple orchards within the RESTPOLL project (Restoring Pollinator habitats across European agricultural landscapes based on multi-actor participatory approaches; HORIZON-CL6-2022-BIODIV-02-01), with ref. 101082102 funded by European Commission.A full-time contract (37.5 hours/week) for one year with the possibility of extension for up to two years if the budget allows, starting in January 2025. The salary offered is € 32,642.10 gross per year.TASKS: Overall supervision of the project, including restoration interventions, surveys, and assessments.Supervision of students and technicians, including training.Coordination of living labs with participation of producers, farm managers, agronomists, and researchers.Data analysis and supervision of the analysis of data generated throughout the project.Lead in the writing of 1-2 manuscripts by the end of the study.Lead in the writing of the final report of the project.Minimum Requirements PhD in Biology, Ecology, Agroecology, Environmental Sciences or similar.Experience in managing field surveys.Experience in pollination and pollinator ecology.Experience in orchard pests and their natural enemies.Experience in project management.Experience in outreach and technology transfer activities.Ability to communicate with fruit producers.Ability to write manuscripts and reports in English.Driver's licence.ASSESSABLE CONDITIONS: Candidates with a certified disability of 33% or more will be prioritized, provided the disability is compatible with the position's responsibilities.Languages: ENGLISH Level ExcellentSelection process SELECTION PROCESS AND CRITERIA:Admission of candidates: applicants must submit a CV and a brief cover letter with a statement of interest until December 19, 2024.
