The Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares Carlos III (F.S.P.) CNIC has been conceived to develop research of excellence, competitive and of international relevance in relation to cardiovascular diseases.
Funciones:
The selected candidate will perform research tasks in the context of the project "Identification of biomarkers to monitor the progression of Hutchinson Gilford progeria syndrome".
The selected candidate will design and perform experiments, analyze big data bases with biological parameters, disseminate results in oral presentations at seminars and scientific conferences, write scientific papers and applications for research projects or reports related to this project.
Mandatory Requirements:
PhD title in the Life Sciences field.
Master in Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or related fields.
First or co-first authorship of at least 2 papers in peer-reviewed international scientific journals.
At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in laboratories of biomedical research.
Minimum English level B2 (CEFR scales) demonstrated by official certificate in non-native English speakers.
Valuable Requirements:
Experience in omics (transcriptomics, epigenomics, proteomics, etc), biostatistics, and molecular biology.
Experience in programming languages and in the use of bioinformatic tools, software and analysis of big data bases with biological parameters.
Scientific papers: more value will be given to papers with first/co-first authorship and related to bioinformatic analysis of big data bases of biological parameters.
Communications to scientific conferences: more value will be given to communications with first/co-first authorship and related bioinformatic analysis of big data bases of biological parameters.
International stays in research laboratories (minimum 3 months).
