Offer Description The selected person will join the Cognition and Behavior Study Group to provide services in the framework of the research project A100465 "Multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, 24-table study in patients with amnestic mild cognitive impairment or very mild Alzheimer's disease to investigate the safety, tolerability and immune response to repeated subcutaneous injections of ABvac40." The research line includes the investigation of the effect of the intestinal microbiota on the pathological features of AD using the 3xTg-*AD animal model.
Some of the tasks you will perform include the following:
Freezing mouse brain samples
Cutting frozen samples with cryostat
Performing immunofluorescence staining
Acquiring images with confocal microscope and analyzing them with ImageJ software
Genotyping of human samples
Working with patient databases
Statistical analysis
Qualifications ? Published articles
? English level First Certificate or equivalent
? Research experience in the field of translational research on Alzheimer's disease
? Knowledge of cryostat and immunofluorescence technique
? Familiarity with confocal microscopy
? Familiarity with genotyping technique using QPCR
? Experience with ImageJ program
? Ability to work in a team
Specific Requirements Ph.D. degree in Biomedicine (2022 or later)
