Postdoctoral Researcher
VHIR offers one position for a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Infectious Disease Department/HIV lab.
The candidate will work on different approaches related to harnessing the immune response to fight HIV
infection.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Education and qualifications:
Required:

Doctoral Degree in Biosciences


English is required

Experience and knowledge: Required:

At least 3 years' experience in animal work, molecular biology, cell culture, and flow cytometry techniques.


Experience in the Virology field


Experience with Flowjo and/or OMIQ software


Ability to work independently

Desired:

Experience in working with the virology and immunology of HIV, and related laboratory techniques


Experience in working in a BSL3 laboratory

Main responsibilities and duties:

Designing, planning, and executing experiments of research projects


Analyzing and interpreting experimental data


Writing and submitting research papers to peer-reviewed journals

Labour conditions:

Full-time position: 40h/week.

Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our
Collective Agreement pay scale
