Postdoctoral Researcher - Blue Economy: The Institute of Marine Research (INMAR) at the University of Cadiz invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Researcher position in the project "Sustainable Blue Economy: Doughnut Economics for Island Contexts." The successful candidate will contribute to the development and application of the 'Doughnut Unrolled' framework, focusing on island-based societies in the Global South.Designation: Postdoctoral ResearcherResearch Area: Sustainable Blue Economy, Doughnut Economics, Social and Planetary BoundariesLocation: Institute of Marine Research (INMAR), University of Cadiz, Cadiz, SpainMinimum Requirements: PhD in ecological economics, environmental studies, natural/social sciences, or engineering .Two years of postdoctoral work experience, contractually documented.Experience in quantitative methods: input–output analysis, life-cycle impact assessment, or statistical methods.Excellent communication, writing, and time management skills.International experience, particularly in the Global South.Experience in qualitative research methods (e.G., semi-structured interviews, co-creative workshops).Knowledge of 'post-growth' economics topics and Doughnut Economics.Familiarity with tools for implementing Doughnut Economics in practice (i.E., 'Doughnut Unrolled').Job Description: The postdoctoral researcher will deepen and refine quantitative and qualitative methods within the 'Doughnut Unrolled' framework.
