NoOffer Description The project (Code: PCI2023-145949-2) aims at examining the challenges and opportunities that urban circular grassroots innovations encounter to create, maintain and scale their solutions for sustainable and inclusive transitions from below. Researchers from six universities in the cities of Amsterdam, Barcelona, Nantes and Gothenburg participate together with grassroots organisations and initiatives from the cities.Responsibilities Tasks related to the project and the research line in ecological economics and political ecology of informal recyclers include:Coordination of the work plan, planning, and oversight of the UB team to ensure objectives are met; Facilitation of weekly meetings (e.G., setting the agenda, objectives to be achieved); Monitoring of the Barcelona Work Package in the Circular Grassroots project (e.G., online meetings with the consortium every three months; in-person meetings in Barcelona, Nantes, and Brussels; drafting the annual report; coordinating with Blanca Callen from UAB on managing the Barcelona Work Package; organizing and facilitating the meeting in Barcelona on April 28-30; preparing the final scientific and financial report); Budget management and liaison with the UB research office for financial resource management; Fieldwork (e.G., surveys with recyclers in Barcelona, interviews with key stakeholders); Data compilation and analysis (e.G., statistics on waste generation and management in Barcelona); Supporting UB team members in the development of academic articles (conceptualization, data collection, analysis, writing, review); Ideally, leading anacademic article on recyclers in Barcelona, to be submitted to a journal before the end of the project
