The postdoc will be included in the research line 'Safe and equitable limits of the planet' of the research programme 'Transformations of marine-coastal socioecological systems' headed by the CRETUS research Center at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain).
Work to be performed: Analysing data to define safe and fair planetary boundaries for the seas.
Tasks: Develop complex databases integrating multiple sources of information.Consultations with key experts to analyze tipping points in the oceans and on land.Data processing and analysis.Elaboration of reports and scientific articles. Requirements Research Field: Economics » Environmental economics.
Education Level: PhD or equivalent.
Skills/Qualifications: Experience in qualitative and quantitative social empirical research.Management and analysis of databases and official data related to social-ecological systems.Scientific publications related to marine social-ecological systems.Experience in working on literature reviews and data collection related to marine social-ecological systems. Specific Requirements:
PhD in Economics, Sustainability, Social Ecology, Natural Sciences, or related areas.
