The Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution that promotes and develops the research, innovation, and biosanitary teaching of the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital. Job Position Description: The applicant will work on the development of new immune-PET agents using preclinical models.
Education and Qualifications: Required: PhD in life sciences (Medicine, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy…)
English and Spanish/Catalan
Desired: License to work in ionizing radiation facilities (supervisor or operator)
License for animal handling (FELASA or similar)
Experience and Knowledge: Required: Knowledge of translational research
Experience in drug discovery and development
Desired: Experience in molecular biology and histology techniques (e.g. Western blotting, IHC, ELISA, cell culture, etc.)
Familiarity with working with rodents (preclinical studies)
Main Responsibilities and Duties: Set up different labeling procedures of radiopharmaceuticals
Carry out preclinical imaging studies
Image analysis
Collaborate with different consortium partners
Presentation of results in meetings and congresses
Training of students
Writing scientific papers and reports
Labour Conditions: Full-time/Part-time position: 40h/week.
Starting date: As soon as possible
Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract: Permanent linked to project (possibility to extend to other projects)
