Postdoc in quantum algorithms and quantum certificationICFO is offering a postdoctoral position to a well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientist who wishes to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.The successful candidate will be joining theQuantum Information Theory group led by Prof. Dr. Antonio Acínto work in the project Quantum in Spain.The tasks will be to design (i) novel quantum and quantum-inspired algorithms, and (ii) protocols to benchmark and validate current and near-term quantum computing devices and simulators.Candidates must hold an internationally-recognized Ph.D.-equivalent degree (or evidence of its completion in the nearest future) preferably in Physics or Computer Science.The candidate should have a proven track record on quantum information theory.ICFO is an equal opportunity employer.
