Postdoc Bioinformatician - Nextflow - BarcelonaPostdoc Bioinformatician with platform development and data analysis experience, working on inflammatory and immune-based diseases.Date: 13th December, 2024Location: Barcelona, SpainSalary: up to €50,000 depending on experienceInteresting and challenging new role for a Postdoc Bioinformatician to work in a rapidly growing, exciting organisation in a team of talented and experienced bioinformaticians and genomic scientists.Using Nextflow, you will be involved in the pipeline development for multi-level biological data including RNA-seq, GWAS, proteomics, metagenomics, epigenomics, and single-cell RNA-seq.
The role also requires you to be involved in the analysis of different types of data generated from patients.We are looking for someone who has:Experience of both pipeline development AND data analysisPhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or similarExperience in analysis of new high-throughput data types (NGS, Genetics, Cytomics, Proteomics) is highly desirable as is a background in human diseases, ideally inflammatory/immune-basedAbility to handle large-scale biological datasetsExperience in R programming is essential.
