Post-doctoral position in ultrathin optical filmsICFO is offering a postdoctoral position to a well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientist who wishes to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.The successful candidate will be joining the Optoelectronics group led by Prof. Dr. Valerio Pruneri.The successful candidate will work on industrially oriented projects to create advanced surfaces for the industry. More specifically, optical and electrical properties will be tailored to achieve the required functionalities. The proposed work involves design, fabrication, and testing of the surfaces with ultrathin materials.Funded by the European Union.Candidates must hold an internationally-recognized Ph.D.-equivalent degree (or evidence of its completion in the nearest future) preferably in Physics, Photonics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or related areas.The candidate should have a proven track record in modeling, fabricating, and testing surfaces with ultrathin materials and nanostructures.
